Digital technology is so much of an asset to the healthcare world. Two days ago, patient, Stacey Yepes, walked into a Canada emergency room showing signs of a stroke, however doctors sent her away saying she only had signs of stress. Two days later, the symptoms came back. This is when Yepes decided to film herself talking to show doctors exactly what she was experiencing. “Doctors there concluded that Yepes was having a transient ischemic attack or TIA, which is also called a mini-stroke.”

Just how important is today’s technology for healthcare and medical diagnoses? “’In all my years treating stroke patients, we’ve never seen anyone tape themselves before,’ Dr Cheryl Jaigobin, the stroke neurologist at the hospital’s Krembil Neuroscience Centre, told CBC.”
